Cascade Clamps - Established in Portland, Oregon in 1943, the Cascade Manufacturing Company began as a small machine shop employing only 4 individuals. Total sales for that year totaled sixty thousand dollars. The very first recorded sales revenues involved the machining and assembly of stainless steel valves, pipe fittings and various parts. During 5 years of operation, the business had stretched to forty staff and their annual sales volume had increased to 330 thousand dollars. Nowadays, Cascade is one of the top international producers in the material handling business.

Production and design of the company's initial hydraulic cylinder paved the way in Cascade's aggressive quest of better business opportunities. Over the past 60 years, the material handling business has matured into a highly advanced field and Cascade has proudly played a part in this development. Cascade at present continues to grow as the best provider of forklift accessories and various associated products. The business feels certain in their potential to continue to lead the way in the business by understanding customer's requirements in the future and remaining competitive within the international market.

In the 1950's, Cascade started designing, manufacturing and selling hydraulic accessories. Construction was finished in 1956 on a brand new office to be able to house all of the plant and office operations in Portland, Oregon at the company's present headquarters. The business has expanded its production facilities within the U.S. with locations in Warner Robins, Georgia, Portland, Oregon and Springfield, Ohio. Cascade products are made globally due to a lot of subsidiary operations. In 1994, a new facility was completed in Almere, the Netherlands which is Cascade's European command center. This facility is made to be the ultimate customer service centre.

Continuing to grow, Cascade expanded their product offering further in 1996 and the year 1997 with the impressive acquisition of 5 firms, including the worldwide best in blades, the Kenhar Corporation.
